About Us

We are a small, independent, GP led home care service providing skilled high-quality care.

Welcombe Care’s purpose is to enhance daily lives by supporting independent living. We provide quality carers to support our service users and also their families, friends and loved ones. Based in the heart of Stratford upon Avon, Welcombe Care was set up in 2015 by local GP Dr Jill Crowfoot, supported by health care professionals Victoria Pringle and Debbie Reynolds. They recognised a need for home care that truly focused on the local population. With the assistance of Martyn Crowfoot they were able to combine their expertise to build a company that places it’s service users at it’s heart.

Our carers are our greatest asset – full stop!

Kind, attentive and skilled our carers are comprehensively trained to provide high quality compassionate care. We recruit to our core values and work hard to find the right people to care for you or your loved one. Our team includes people from all walks of life, of all ages and backgrounds – there is someone for everyone! We will work with you to find carers that you’ll be happy with.

We have a strong reputation with local health care providers including district nurses, mental health teams and also our own carers. This has allowed for organic growth as we are able to recruit predominately through word of mouth. As a small company we recognise our team members as individuals. Through valuing our staff and listening to their needs and ideas they in turn reflect this ethos in their care provision. By always striving to provide enhanced person-centred care, our carers use their experience to assist with ideas from meal planning, to volunteering opportunities, to new social activities.

Registered Manager Victoria Pringle heads the care team both in the office and in the field. She is a visible, hands on Manager and she is always available on the end of the phone. She is supported by our Field Care Managers who work tirelessly to ensure the team provide high standards of care. You may meet them at assessments, home visits and care reviews. Our Field Care Managers are also hands on and provide care in the field whilst overseeing the care team and ensuring the office is kept up to date with all of our service users.

On a day to day basis the scheduling and care-coordinating staff ensure you get the care required at the right time with the right staff. We endeavour to accommodate your needs and work with you to ensure your care is the best it can be. Last but not least, our small Office Administration team are always on hand to help or answer any queries.
